What is LNG?

LNG means Liquefied/Liquid Natural Gas. LNG is stored under extremely cold temperatures, which makes the gas liquid. LNG storage installations are therefore constructed from materials that are suitable for this cold application. Motor vehicles, for example,
are also filled with the LNG stored at low temperatures. As a user you are fortunately not aware of this. In specific circumstances, such as in industry, the LNG is brought up to temperature before use with evaporators.

LNG installation inspection 

Do you have an installation for storing LNG or LNG evaporators? A legally required inspection applies to both.

What does the inspection entail?

An inspection is carried out based on an extensive checklist. The following aspects are checked during the inspection:

• internal inspection;
• external inspection;
• installation site.

After the inspection, you receive a report and, if the findings are positive, an inspection certificate.

Inspection based on PGS 33 regulations
