than 0.5 bar? This pressure equipment must meet the requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU). The directive applies to the design, manufacture and final inspection. When assembling CE marked components that are integrated into a functional whole, the directive applies to the integration assessment. Before the manufacturer places the product on the market, they draw up a declaration stating that the product complies with the PED directive PED and they apply CE marking to their product. For a risk category greater than I, the manufacturer may only apply CE marking after verification by an independent European inspection body.

If the pressure equipment meets the PED, it may be traded freely on the European market.
