Inspection of refrigeration installation with a natural refrigerant

You have a new refrigeration installation and want to start using it. As the owner and user of refrigeration installations with natural refrigerants you are obliged to comply with certain laws and regulations. The inspection before commissioning is carried out by ECH. If your refrigeration installation is approved for commissioning, we will issue a declaration of commissioning. If you are already using the refrigeration installation, the equipment must be inspected periodically. We also carry out these periodic inspections for you. As a user, you are responsible for having the periodic inspection performed on time. 

Directives for refrigeration installation with a natural refrigerant

Pursuant to the Environmental Management Act, a refrigeration installation with a natural refrigerant must meet the requirements of a number of directives. These directives set requirements for the preparation, management and maintenance of the refrigeration installation. These are the directives:

PGS 13  (for ammonia/NH₃/R717)
NPR 7601 (for carbon dioxide/CO₂/R744)
NPR 7600 (for propane/R290)
